The house and land I had purchased in the Binginwarri Valley in Gippsland, overlooks Wilson Prom and the glorious valley, perched on a ridge with amazing views, amazing trees, an old orchard, a few huge sheds and just beautiful. Two and a bit hours from Melbourne with a drive that is by any standards lovely, rolling hills filled with what seem to be happy contented cows on grass that dazzles with rich green. Since this is not a travelogue, suffice to say, well within easy distance.
Wilma is between earth, sea and sky, the house rests on a ridge with 14.5 acres. I have plans, cooking classes that will allow a small group of people to have a hands-on experience. A few years back in a creative moment I designed a table, 3 metres long and with a cement top about 12 centimetres deep, it’s a stunning thing and when warmed by the sun, delicious to sit at.
